Suspect John Eric Owens saught in the homicide of Kenneth Ray Wolridge

As reported on Houston Homicides on 15 Jan 2008, Kenneth Ray Wolridge was murdered as he inspected his vehicle after it was hit by an erratic driver.

John Eric Owens was identified as a driver of one of the vehicles and was the shooter involved in the slaying.

The Houston Chronicle reports that Owens also goes by the aliases "J-Mob" and "Sleepy."

Police asked that anyone with information on his whereabouts call the homicide division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.

Your blog is very very very depressing. Almost as depressing as read the Chronicle. (I followed the link over from the 'Sleepy' homicide.

I'll bet they love what you're doing at the Houston Chamber of Commerce. You're a Google blogger, so any prospective visitor or businessman, etc. that does a search using 'Houston+homicide' is gonna find this blog. Oh well, the truth hurts. Houston is a violent city.

placidian, I'm not trying to be depressing. What I am trying to do is bring awareness to the homicides that occur in Houston. I get very suspecious when there are declines in robberies, rapes, and assaults, but there is no reduction in homicides. People can drop charges for all other crimes except homicide.
