Zhiyuan 'Ryan' Chen, 26, was shot multiple times outside the Tan Do Chinese Restaurant near the 9300 block of Bellaire Boulevard at Ranchester.

Zhiyuan 'Ryan' Chen was an international student from China attending Texas Southern University. Two men approached Chen as he talked on his cell phone. One man shot Chen and ran away.

A sketch of the suspect has been released by the Houston Police Detectives. "The shooter is described as a Hispanic male in his early 20s, about 5 feet, 4 inches tall with a slim build. He was wearing a white baseball cap, white T-shirt and dark pants," authorities said. "The man with him is described as Hispanic, 30 to 35 years old, 6 feet tall and between 170 and 180 pounds. He had medium-length black hair and wore a dark T-shirt and dark pants."

There is a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
